Rhodex makes 59 lubricants for RC racing — 20 silicone shock oil viscosities, 14 diff oils, a full grease lineup, and the Heliox aerospace PFPE range. Each one formulated for a specific job, bottled to spec, and made in the UK.
Suspension, drivetrain, bearings, electronics — there's a Rhodex oil or grease formulated for each. Browse by category.
20 viscosities from 50 cSt to 1000 cSt. Pure silicone base, heat-stable, seal-safe.
14 weights from 2,000 cSt to 100,000 cSt. Front, centre, rear — pick by feel.
Ball diff, moly thrust, ceramic, plastic gear, marine, racing pro. One for each part.
PFPE oils, grease, and dry film. The aerospace chemistry for ceramic bearings and severe-load drivetrains.
Foam air filter oil, high-speed bearing oil, after-run engine oil. The bits that don't fit elsewhere.
Shock service and full lube kits. Save a few quid versus buying the bottles individually.
A lot of what gets sold as "RC lubricant" is industrial product in a smaller bottle. Rhodex is formulated the other way around — starting from what the part actually needs, then making the oil or grease to suit.
From 50 cSt up to 1000 cSt for shocks, and 2,000 cSt up to 100,000 cSt for diffs. The viscosity you need is on the shelf — no blending, no rounding off.
The Heliox line uses PFPE base stocks — the chemistry used in aerospace bearings and high-vacuum applications. For ceramic bearings and severe-load drivetrains, it's a tier above conventional grease.
Ball diff grease is different from thrust grease. Plastic gear grease is silicone-based so it doesn't attack nylon. Thirteen greases, each formulated for what it goes into.
What's on the label is what's in the bottle. No PAO blends, no mineral oil thinners, no thickener additives. The 400 cSt this month behaves like the 400 cSt last month.
Formulated and bottled in Britain. We control the batches and the QC, so what ships matches what's on the label.
The silicone fluids are stabilised so they don't thin out the way generic shock oils do mid-run. 400 cSt at the start of a heat is still close to 400 cSt at the end.
Twenty viscosities from 50 cSt to 1000 cSt, in clean 50 cSt steps. Pure silicone — no blends, no thinners, no thickener additives.
The viscosity on the label is the viscosity in the bottle, and it stays that way under racing heat. Each batch is held to the same tight cSt tolerance, so when you make a setup change, you're actually changing the oil — not chasing batch variance.
That's what's worth knowing: the next bottle behaves like the last one. Setup notes carry over. Race-day repeatability is the point.
Professional RC racing requires specialist products for specialist components. Rhodex engineers a dedicated formula for each one.
20 precise viscosities, O-ring grease for seal integrity, and curated oil bundles for complete shock service.
14 viscosities for gear diffs plus ball diff grease and moly thrust grease for ball differential systems.
High-speed bearing oil, multi-purpose grease, Rogue-X heavy duty grease, and aerospace Heliox 25 for extreme loads.
Plastic gear grease for nylon/plastic, copper gear grease for metal-on-metal, ceramic grease with HBN nano particles.
Switch lube for RC switches and connectors — electrical contact grease for corrosion protection and smooth operation.
Foam air filter oil for nitro/gas intake, after-run engine oil for corrosion protection between race sessions.
